CTG, in partnership with EY, invites you to participate in a session for both charities and their advisers, exploring recent policy developments and providing practical tax updates.

The session will include a presentation by Steve Carroll, from HMRC’s Charities Outreach team, who will be looking at recent Gift Aid updates including the work being done to improve donor education around Gift Aid and online fundraising.

Other topics to be covered will likely include:

• Brexit: opportunities and challenges for the charity sector
• A review of recent VAT case law
• Implications of the Making Tax Digital agenda
• Business rates

The seminar will take place at EY Manchester on Monday 27 November 2017 from 14:00 to 16:00. Registration and a sandwich lunch will be available from 13:00.
