Treasury Minister responsible for charity taxation writes to CTG
CTG has received a letter from the Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury (XST), Damian Hinds MP, providing updates on a number of topical tax issues facing charities.
The letter is in response to a briefing sent by CTG to the Minister, in advance of a planned Charity Tax Roundtable with sector bodies. The meeting has been rearranged for the autumn.
In his letter the Minister comments on recent developments including the European Referendum, Common Reporting Standard, Apprenticeship Levy, Gift Aid, Business Rates and the Making Tax Digital agenda.
