Event Summary:
The session will address the trickiest parts of Gift Aid claims including Gift Aid declarations, donor benefits, memberships, retail Gift Aid, common errors to avoid, and what to do if you make a mistake. At the end of this session you should have a toolkit to review your Gift Aid processes to make sure that you are capturing Gift Aid declarations on all eligible donations hence maximizing Gift Aid income, and that your claims are valid.
This session will be suitable for finance staff and their advisers, whether paid or voluntary, who work for charities large and small, and are responsible for preparing Gift Aid Claims for the charity, and managing the process of recording Gift Aid declarations and matching them to donations.
