Law Commission consultation on law reform projects

The Law Commission has launched a consultation to help shape its 13th Programme of law reform, which will cover the period 2017 to 2020.

The consultation is an important opportunity to shape the future priorities for law reform in England and Wales. The Law Commission is keen to hear your suggestions about possible changes to the substantive law of England and Wales, including (but not limited to) those where Parliament has legislated, or secondary legislation has been enacted, in response to EU directives.

The Law Commissioners are also suggesting a number of potential projects that could form part of the 13th Programme.

You can use the consultation questionnaire to send the Law Commission your ideas at programme@lawcommission.gsi.gov.uk. The criteria for project selection can be read here.
