Apprenticeship Levy funding reforms webinar

The Department for Education has been holding a series of webinars highlighting the reforms to come into effect from April 2017 through legislation for the Apprenticeship Levy. As part of these webinars, a useful set of slides has been published, summing up the key proposals.

The slides also contain particularly helpful tables detailing how to work out an organisation’s total annual levy payment and setting out how co-investment and paying for apprentice training from the digital account will work.

Officials have also confirmed that organisations should be able to apply for a digital account from January 2017, ready for use in May 2017.
