CTG’s Chair, Richard Bray, will be joined by John Webber of Colliers. John has over 35 years’ experience in the rating industry and leads Colliers’ 135-strong rating team. He is a chartered surveyor and a former member of the Valuation Office Agency.

Business rates relief for charities is more valuable than Gift Aid and so an understanding of the broader rates landscape is highly relevant for charities.  This is now the third annual update that John Webber has given CTG members and comes when there is a current Government consultation on the scope and scale of avoidance and evasion.
