The Public Accounts Committee launched an inquiry into the progress of the Government’s plans to increase the number of apprenticeships, including a focus on the role of the Apprenticeship Levy.

The Committee will question officials from the Department for Education, the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the Institute for Apprenticeships about the value of the apprenticeships programme and effectiveness of its oversight.
